Prescott Instruments Workshop!
Saturday, January 31, 2015
1:30 - 5:00 pm

BRS is pleased to sponsor a special Prescott Instruments Workshop on January 31, 2015. Several of our members own Prescott instruments, and have kindly agreed to share their instruments for this occasion. This workshop is for players who would like to have the experience of playing these beautiful instruments.

Note that Renaissance Prescott recorders require some different fingerings than the Baroque recorder fingerings that many of us are used to. These fingerings will be explained for those new to the instruments.

Date: Saturday, January 31, from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM
Coaches: Héloïse Degrugillier and Tom Zajac
Fee: $55 non-members/$50 members/$45 senior members (65+) and full-time students
Location: Lesley University, University Hall, 1815 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge (see the BRS Website for directions and parking information)

The Workshop date is fast approaching, and there is only one place left! Please register now:

Date Change for Spring Workshop!

Unfortunately, the space at Lesley University is not available on the date we had orginally hoped to schedule our Spring Workshop. We are currently working on a new date and our line-up of coaches. Watch this space for an announcement regarding this very enjoyable annual event.
Composer Stephen Arndt's Offer of Original Recorder Music

Composer Stephen Arndt has offered BRS free access to his series of twenty-one solo pieces for alto recorder, titled  "One-Part Inventions." Both the recordings and the scores are available on his website here.
