Notice of Annual Meeting

The BRS Annual Meeting and election of Board Members will be held at 7:45 pm, during the break at our upcoming meeting on May 22, 2016, in the basement lobby of 1815 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge.

We thank departing Board member John Maloney for his three years of service. His creativity and generous spirit are very much appreciated by all.
Friedrich Von Huene, 1929-2016

We are saddened to report the death of Friedrich Von Huene on May 10. His contributions as historical instrument designer, scholar, and and mentor to many were crucial to the creation of today's early music community. We are grateful for his role in the early development of the Boston Recorder Society. Longer tributes and remembrances will appear in upcoming issues of the American Recorder and Early Music America.
