Sunday, October 18, 6:30-9:00 p.m.

Please RSVP yes or no as soon as possible.

Refreshments in October will be provided by Marilyn's group.

New players always welcome--- recorders, baroque flutes and strings, or early loud winds. If you are new to BRS, your first session is a free trial. See the BRS website for details about our ensembles, membership options, and directions.

This month, Eric Haas will be coaching Dan's group and Sarah Cantor will coach Carol's group.
Instrument Auction at October 18 Meeting

Immediately following our October 18 playing session, we will be auctioning a variety of recorders (from garklein to bass) that have been donated to the Boston Recorder Society. Hang around after 9:00PM and expand your collection!
Save the date!  Fall Workshop for Low Recorders

Fall Half-day Workshop: Saturday afternoon, November 7, 2015
This workshop is for players who love to play low recorders: tenor, bass, C-bass, Great bass, or Contra-bass. Watch for registration details coming soon.

Date: Saturday afternoon, November 7, from 1:00PM to 4:30PM
Coaches: Héloïse Degrugillier and Emily O'Brien
Fee: $55 non-members/$50 members/$45 senior members (65+) and full-time students
Location: Lesley University, University Hall, 1815 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge (see the BRS Website for directions and parking information)

At least half the participants must be able to bring an instrument lower than bass, so that the workshop can successfully present the experience of a full rich low instrument consort.

We are in need of recorders lower than bass to use in this workshop. If you have one you can lend, we would be most grateful if we could arrange to borrow it for this workshop.

Registration details will be available later this month. Watch your email!
